Integrity
Ethical and transparent operations
OTP Group’s sustainability approach is built on ethical and transparent operations, supported by a strong commitment to fair business conduct and full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Group considers ethical behaviour not only as a compliance obligation, but as a key contributor to long-term competitiveness and reputation at both domestic and international levels. Particular emphasis is placed on protecting customer interests, ensuring operational stability, and delivering secure and reliable financial services.
The principles of ethical business conduct are defined in the Group’s Code of Ethics, which sets out expectations such as fair business practices, anti-corruption, avoidance of conflicts of interest, respect for human rights, non-discrimination, and the provision of a safe and healthy working environment. These principles are applied consistently across all activities, including product development and service delivery. All employees and governing bodies are required to formally acknowledge and adhere to these standards. The Group also operates whistleblowing channels across all countries of operation, supporting the reporting of ethical or legal concerns and strengthening accountability.
Transparency is further reinforced through a comprehensive governance and compliance framework. The Compliance Strategy and Policy, binding across the Group, ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, while the Legal and Compliance function actively reviews internal policies, product development, and communication processes, and plays a key role in raising awareness among employees. Altogether, transparency, measurability, and accountability are embedded into OTP Group’s operations, supporting open and trust-based relationships with stakeholders and aligning with international reporting standards.

Transparency through standardized reporting
OTP Group ensures a high level of transparency by applying standardized and internationally aligned reporting frameworks. Sustainability-related disclosures are integrated into the annual report and prepared in accordance with leading standards such as ESRS, which guarantee consistency, comparability, and reliability. Transparency, measurability, and traceability are treated as core principles, enabling stakeholders to track performance and progress over time and to make well-informed decisions.
Strong governance and oversight mechanisms
Transparency is supported by a robust corporate governance system that complies with both national and international standards. Clearly defined roles and responsibilities, together with supervisory bodies and internal control functions—such as risk management, compliance, and internal audit—ensure that operations and disclosures are continuously monitored and aligned with regulatory expectations. This structured governance framework contributes to reliable, transparent, and well-controlled decision-making processes across the Group.
Transparency and Stakeholder Engagement
OTP Group maintains transparency through regular and comprehensive disclosures to investors and stakeholders, including financial statements, ESG data, corporate governance reports, and regulatory publications. These disclosures are complemented by open communication channels and proactive stakeholder engagement, which help ensure that relevant, timely, and decision-useful information is accessible, thereby strengthening trust and long-term relationships.
